Dr. Irwanto
Professor
The 60-year old Professor Irwanto is a name recognized by many. A professor who earned his Ph.D. in Child Development and Family Studies, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, the professor is currently the head of the doctoral programme, as well as the faculty of psychology at Universitas Indonesia. At the same time, he acts as the co-director of the Center on Child Protection and Welfare, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia. Since 2011, he has been a board member of International Disability and Public Policy Consortium, ASEAN, and has been a board member of Accreditation Committee for Social Work Institutions, Ministry of Social Affairs since 2013. The professor has won countless awards, with “The National Award as Champion in Inclusive education for persons with disabilities” from the Ministry of Education and Culture is his latest award, received in 2014
